Why these tools, and not the SaaS ones?

Forever free

Other tools have free trials that expire, or "free" tiers that lock the features you actually need. Every tool here is fully functional from the first click.

No signup, no email

Other tools want your email before you can even calculate a GPA. Here you open the tool and use it. No account, no password, no newsletter.

Your data stays yours

Other tools store everything in their cloud. We use your browser's localStorage so nothing leaves your device. No server, no database, no tracking.

Common questions

Are these tools really free, or is there a catch?
No catch. No Pro tier. No subscription. No email gate. Every tool is fully functional from the first click. The site is supported by AdSense ads, and that is it.
Do colleges accept parent-created transcripts?
Yes. Virtually every US college accepts homeschool transcripts created by the parent acting as administrator. The transcript should include student information, courses by year with grades and credits, GPA, graduation date, and your signature. Many colleges actively recruit homeschool students because of their independent learning skills.
What state-by-state requirements should I know about?
Requirements vary widely. Some states require zero notification (Texas, Idaho, Illinois). Others require annual filing, attendance logs, or testing (New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts). Our state requirements page covers all 50 states with current 2026 rules.
Where is my data saved when I use a tool?
In your browser's localStorage on the device you used to open the tool. We do not have a backend, so your information never leaves your device. If you switch devices, you will need to re-enter your data, or use the PDF export feature.
Can I print these tools or use them offline?
Yes to both. Every tool generates a clean print preview, and after your first visit the page is cached so it works offline. Most parents print the attendance log and reading log to keep on a clipboard while keeping the calculators digital.
